Universal Constants as Manifestations of Relativity

چکیده
We study the possible interpretation of "universal constants" by classification J.~M.~L\'evy-Leblond. $\hbar$ and $c$ are most common example constants this type. Using Fock's principle relativity w.r.t. observation means, we show that both can be viewed as manifestations certain relativity. also there is a possibility to interpret Boltzmann's constant in similar way, make some comments about relativistic spacetime curvature gravitational $G$.

Constants of the motion, universal time and the Hamilton-Jacobi function in general relativity
In most text books of mechanics, Newton's laws or Hamilton's equations of motion are rst written down and then solved based on initial conditions to determine the constants of the motions and to describe the trajectories of the particles. In this essay, we take a di erent starting point. We begin with the metrics of general relativity and show how they can be used to construct by inspection con...
متن کاملConstants of motion for vacuum general relativity
The 3+1 Hamiltonian Einstein equations, reduced by imposing two commuting spacelike Killing vector fields, may be written as the equations of the SL(2, R) principal chiral model with certain ‘source’ terms. Using this formulation, we give a procedure for generating an infinite number of non-local constants of motion for this sector of the Einstein equations. The constants of motion arise as exp...
متن کاملUniversal Length and Validity of Special Relativity
We suggest the reexamination of the validity of the Lorentz invariance at the small distance of the order of 10-16 cm in the light of high energy available at CERN and NAL. Using the modified weak interaction Lagrangian with a noncausal form factor we evaluate the muon decay lifetime including the effect of the radiative corrections as a function of the particle energy and characteristic length...
متن کاملCultural Relativity of Moral Precepts
The foundation of most intellectual discourse is Western-centric to the exclusion of other views. This includes ideal patterns of social interaction, preference for aesthetic, accepted norms and values, and the concepts of dignity, respectability, morality and ethics. Such a position is culturally myopic. Western cultural influence colors all of them including moral precepts. The assumption is ...
